Mood Disorders Society of Canada (MDSC) is a national, not for profit, consumer driven, voluntary health charity committed to ensuring that the voices of consumers, family members and caregivers are heard on issues relating to mental health and mental illness; and in particular with regard to depression, bipolar illness and other associated mood disorders.

   The Mood Disorders Society of Canada thanks the 250 people who attended the inaugural Canadian Educators Conference on Mental Health from April 23-24th, in Ottawa. (PDF)
 


We are happy to announce that our fifth school board in Ontario has joined the Elephant in the Room Campaign. The Waterloo Catholic District School Board (WCDSB) has implemented the campaign to raise awareness about mental illness in the workplace, and in the classroom. Read more here: PDF
